Default Noisy and Harsh sounding Deliverance

I had some friends playing all my heads in my studio in December and one of them turned on my Deliverance for about a minute without it being hooked to a cab. Now it has a louder Hum than it use to and sounds harsher over all. Anyone here know what the problem might be or anyway to fix it?

replacing the power tubes is usually the first stop after checking normal things like cables and fuses (it doesn't sound like either of those). harshness and hum are both potential symptoms of underfunctioning power tubes

I know that as the victim of amp troubles, the last thing you want to check is something that's gonna cost you $70-100, but that's the most likely thing
