    Looks like fun....
The fact that Stephen appears from nowhere, is sentenced to death in an emotional public trial without anyone interfering at all and is then altogether forgotten as if nothing happened, is already suspicious.

Hi HellfireSG and stephen sawall its been long since last visit here... its been quiet here these days ?

yeah having nice time romancing the classic... it works especially well at low volume.. except for the huge "pop" sound when switching from cleans to dirty channel... its really an amp to get grounded under my list... if the CLX or UL will have individual eq controls would be cooler...

the lead control for shift is located under rhythm channel where edge is at lead... just as I thought it be another edge boost at the rhythm channel but I was wrong... I get quite awhile to figure it out after reading the manuals...

I stop by often..... But do not post much.
I think about picking up a UL..... But the Sig X & D120 fit me better.

I am more than happy with any Fryette amp.

heya! been off ..well i think it would be unfair to do comparison on a 20 year old amp... i heard old caps will tends to have a loose tone... as a cap change will tighten the tone up.. anyway this classic on the green has less gain , less aggressive tone slightly lose compared to the green on the CL...

the red channel i felt its got tons of gain very much saturated too... i gain up the knob to merely about 2 oclock any point beyond it tends to get noisy..

the cleans on the classic is nice it can get from sparkle cleans to very nice soothing warm cleans... the voicing switch switches a notch up to get more heavier tone on dirt channels...

its a nice amp and it has reminiscence of the channels red and green that evolves... i would prefer the controls on the CL as the EQ is seperate and if ur not a collector i think a CLX or the 100CL will be a good to go !

CL or CLX with graphic EQ is the way and speaks better than the voicing switch on the older pittbull...

cant really say much but just a general idea as am running this amp cold and unmatched tube was used for a time being...
