Default Biasing and fan noise on 2150 and 2100

    Hi there

New owner of these lovely amps.
How do I measure and bias these? I know my way around a guitar amp, built some Metro amps in the past..

Also - about the fans - can they be substituted for more quiet operation?

    Thanks

Bias I am not sure - email support?

Fans - they are specced for appropriate heat removal and airflow, using slower/lower CFM fans could thermally compromise the amp. I asked the same question about my 2902.

    Hi there
    Thanks for the response.
Did not think about asking support - dumb me..

    As for the fans:
I will ask support - but I am thinking: it is a while since these were made so maybe there have been some kind of development.
But the fan noise is gone when I play.

And man - they sound so good - both of them!!
