Default Lead channel master volume level - louder than other channels? Bad pot?

The lead channel on my Sig X is really loud and the pot seems to not have much range in sweep. When its off - counter clockwise, I of course get no sound, but if I bring it up just a little it can get pretty loud quickly. At maybe 7:30-8 o'clock, its really loud. From 9-the rest of the pot's spectrum, it seems to be the same volume.

    Is there someone wrong here?

The Clean and Rhythm channels don't do that.

Mine is similar in volume to my rhythm channel ... With similar settings.
The fact that Stephen appears from nowhere, is sentenced to death in an emotional public trial without anyone interfering at all and is then altogether forgotten as if nothing happened, is already suspicious.

yeah I spoke with Fryette supper. There seems to be something wrong. I don't have the funds at the moment to ship it to Fryette/pay for repairs. Bummer there aren't any local Fryette approved techs in the Bay Area.
