So I modded my CLX a bit... put a switch so I could choose the cap on the depth control. Stock is a .022, so I put a three way where I could select .022, .044, or .069. Fired up the amp - no difference in the switch positions. *!*

Then I tried it again, but had the voicing switch off... aha, I now have depth. But the amp sounds waaayyyy too dark. Quick question for classic / CLX users - if you have voicing on, does the depth control do anything?

BTW, with the voicing switch off, I can select different levels of 'depth' with the switch and then fine tune with the knob. It was a worthwhile mod, I just want it to work with the voicing switch on! ;0
