    Default Help!

I just got a 2x12 cab and want to run it with my 4x12. I cant remember the ohm thing and I'm getting confused....

    The 4x12 is 16 ohms
    The 2x12 is 16 ohms

I should run the head at 8 ohms right?

It confuses me because I know you divide the ohms by how many cabs you have but its a 2x12 and a 4x12 not (2) 4x12's.

If your 2x12" is really 16 ohms, then run you amp at 8 ohms.

If you're talking about a VHT 2x12", both FB and Del are 8 ohms mono.

No way to mix a 16 ohms cab with another 8 ohms...

    Thanks...
Yeah the 2x12 is 16 ohms its an Avatar didn't have the extra money for the D212 and the 4x12 is a Marshall.
I'm planing on selling both soon and getting a D412.
Anyone hear anything about the new speakers?

Yes , if they're both 16 you should set your amp to 8 ohms.
