This got deleted for some reason so I guess I'll try to post again...

...for my simplified, everyday use:

I consider these all to be "must-have" pedals. This is setup for use with my Bassman as you can see the delay and verb are inline. If I was using this with the VHT, the delay and verb would have separate cables running to the loop and the front row would go in front of the amp. Each one of these pedals sounds killer with the UL.

Just thought I'd share. Click here (http://www.daveweiner.com/dw_pb_dec08.jpg) for a bigger version of this pic and HERE (http://www.daveweiner.com/dw_pb_dec08big.JPG) for a huge version.

i think the front row is top notch. i want one of those keeley compressors so bad.

i haven't tried the holy grail "plus" but the original holy grail left such a bad taste in my mouth (and noise in my signal chain) that i sorta give a little cringe when i see ehx pedals.

that said, i did buy a pog for the sweet organ sounds it gives, even though it too adds that special ehx hiss to my signal.

Yeah the original HG was noisy and had issues. The HGP solved all that. Both of these EHX pedals are silent and sound amazing. They wouldn't be on this board if they weren't.

I'm just curious to know why you use those settings on the xotic RC!

because I hate the way those settings sound!

lol

no, really.. because I spent time listening to the pedal and those are the settings that work for me. Sometimes I'll back down the vol or gain if it's a bit too much but I usually leave them pinned.
