Hey
I just purchased an 50st head and will eventually purchase a VHT cab. What are the p50s and can you describe the sound. I currently have a Marshall 1950a cab but will be going a 2x12.
Thanks

They are speakers made by Eminence specificaly for VHT. They are great speakers in my opinion and a perfect match for a VHT amp. I have them in a fatbottom 4x12 and they have some nice clairity and punch.

Do they have more clarity than than V30's ?
I heard they sound very vintage.

Alot more clarity, articulation and way more bottom end. I love P50E's and absolutely hate V30's.
I don't like speakers that are designed to break up.
To me V30's are very very harsh and brittle sounding.
The only good quality that V30's have is behind a microphone, they record very well.

Do you think I should get 4 P50's or 2 P50's in the "X"patern with 2 V30's ?

With way more bottom do you think they could handle bass guitar also? I'm looking for speakers to do both...
