Nice Rig! I just picked up a Powerball myself last week. Gonna try running the CLX and PB through my FB cab and see if I can shake some drywall loose!

No man its whale blue. made a few changes to it since i got it tho. It's got twin emg 81's, black steel pup rings, black steel dome knobs, and i put in some graphtech saddles the other day which surprise surprise are black hahaha.

You'd be right indeed, metal all the way. :)

For doing what i do i think the maxon wins hands down, it's not even close. But for rockier stuff with less gain etc the ts-9 may compete a bit better as i found it to be a little less tight and more vintage sounding than the maxon if that makes sense? But for metal definately the maxon.

Just my opinion of course.

Any sound clips yet? I would love to hear a side by side of the Maxon and the Ts-9.

I really like the 5150 ts9 combination.. same with the powerball really shakes some of that saturation and opens it up.

Nice rig, what cabs you run?

i'm currently running a trad mesa 4x12, but hoping to add either a fat bottom 2x12 or a mesa 2x12 in the near future. And thanks for the comments guys.
