I Need A Good Boost That Doesnt "Add" Any Distortion To The Sound, Other Then The Natural Distortion From The Amp Getting Pushed Hard.
I Was Wondering If A Simple EQ Pedal Would Work By Pushing All The Sliders Up A Little. Like My, MXR M-108
Any Suggestions?

I have a modded Boss GE-7. I was using it for awhile but went back to my Fulltone '69 because it lets my signal chain be completely true-bypass. I may try an Xotic again soon, but it's hard to justify spending that kind of money when the Fulltone is getting the job done. Plus I need other toys first, like maybe some Suhr pickups for my Strat.:-D

I have the Keeley/Legendary Tones Time Machine Boost. Definitely one of the nicer and more versatile boosts out there. It's a tad pricey... but it works well with every amp.

One more: not really a clean boost but the Marshall Bluesbreaker pedals also work very well to my ears. Not compressed at all and very dynamic.

At the Suhr website they have a clip of Scott Henderson demoing all of the Xotic pedals. One of the local dealers sells them; Id love to have one.

The Xotic BB Preamp offers a wide variety of sound. It's capable of 30dB+ clean boost with adjustable ±15dB two band active EQ's which adds a wide range of harmonic content for your ideal sound. The BB also utilizes a pre-gain stage which provides a range of sounds from a very pristine clean to a very compressed smooth overdriven sound.

Rit plays quite a bit of clean and likes it and howe also likes it; this is definitely the one I'd be looking into as clean boost is what I require.

Hi brand new to the forum, just sold my Soldano Avenger and ordered a Deliverance 60! I have been using the RC Boost on all my amps and have had great results, just a wonderful musical pedal that gives greater clarity & bigger, fuller tone. Great Pedal IMHO!

Here is a cool video that shows RC Boost in action:

I don't think you can go wrong with the RC Booster. It has worked great for any amp I have put it thru. It really works great with my UL!

Thanks, I think thats what im going with. I like the fact that it has bass and treble nobs to shape the sound a little more then other boost's.

How Did You Like The Soldano Avenger ?
Soldano treated me well! Really a fantastic amp no complaints. I played the Deliverance and it just blew me away & I sold the Soldano after 2 years of solid tone! I had to leave NYC today, just as I left UPS dropped of my new Deliverance 60, so I have not had the chance to play it yet through my own cabs etc. The Avenger is a great amp, but really liked to be opened up and got very loud very quick. All said, Avenger is one of my favorite amps. If you want an amp that sounds like a hot rod Marshall 800 Avenger is very cool! Check my sig and scroll down I think there is an Avenger Clip I did. Sorry to go off Boost subject, still using RC Boost with every amp I own!
